Weekly Recap

Fall is here!! Who else is excited? I am sitting over here drinking my coffee with pumpkin spice in it, the weather outside at the moment is super chilly but it looks like it will go back up to 70’s this week. I am hoping the leaves change slowly, I was worried they would all just kind of drop and no beautiful autumn for us, so far, so good.

What’s else is new? Oh September was a busy month. My birthday, my anniversary, my nieces birthday and we all got colds. We all also have colds right now, two weeks after we recovered from the first, blah. I also got Kindle Unlimited now, because I apparently needed access to more books.

I’ve been on the roll with reading. I have also bought a bunch of chilly books for fall reads and with Halloween coming up, bring out the ghost stories and thriller - right after I am done with a Christmas book I am reading - Oops.

My reading has picked up, I went to being behind schedule to being 6 books ahead 😀 super excited.

How are you guys planning on enjoying your fall? Do you read certain books? What are you reading?

  1. Glad to hear you had a great reading week. 6 books ahead is AWESOME! I’m trying to blog ahead. We’ll see if I can do it with my crazy schedules.
Enjoy your books and have a wonderful week. 😁❤️

  2. I am drinking my homemade pumpkin spice latte. I can’t believe it’s already October. I didn’t know Sarah Fine had a new book out. I must go investigate. Usually I Love her books, but I admit I was disappointed in her last series.

  3. I see some fall and winter reads! I’m starting to read some too. Never too early. Happy Birthday and Anniversary. Sorry you all caught colds and hope you feel better soon!

  4. I love fall and plan on reading all the twisty thrillers I can get my hands on lol. I’m not a big horror fan but I like to read something with a little suspense in October. 🙂 And pumpkin spice everything is good!

Uncanny and The Murders of Molly Southbourne both look like good fall reads.

  5. I’m envious of your chilly weather. I’ll even take your days in the 70’s! Last week we were in the 90’s almost everyday. This week is better - but still in the 80’s. Oh, the joys of Florida living. 😉 September was certainly a busy month for you. Sept/Oct is like that on this end as far as birthdays and anniversaries. There’s me, my nephew, my brother-in-law, my sister, my father, and my other brother-in-law. Crazy! You read your Christmas book before your spooky books? Horrors! LOL I actually don’t tend to read seasonally. I rarely read holiday-themed books or scary books. I’ve looked at How to Make a Wish several times but never picked it up. I’ll be interested to see what you think of it.

  6. Happy Fall, Lily! I’ve already enjoyed a pumpkin latte, and I’m loving the cooler temps we’ve been having here. Congratulations on being six books ahead! I’ve got some catching up to do in order to meet my goal. Looks like some great books are coming up for you, and I’ll be eager to hear your thoughts on them. Happy belated birthday and anniversary! Have a great week and feel better 🙂

  7. Oh wow, that is a busy month! Happy birthday and anniversary! And ooh, Kindle Unlimited. I plan to do the month free trial thing for that at some point and see how it is. I feel like there aren’t actually a lot of books I want available for it though :-/ Your new books look interesting, especially the skeleton one lol.
