Weekly Wrap Up #30 – Good to be back

Weekly Recap

It’s so good to be back on the blog! I’ve missed it. The last few months have been stressful. I am still struggling with my health. Going to see a new doctor (it will be my 4th) this week for another input. I am starting to be a little scared, it’s been a couple of months now and no real diagnosis. Sad parts aside, I’ve been reading more again – not as much as I wanted to, but I’ve also been buying more books in preparation for the summer.

This week we had two super warm days and I got to take my son to the park and he was beyond happy. Now it’s cold again. I hope it does not last because I am over the snow and ready for some spring. Got my garden beds cleaned out, peppers and eggplants and tomatoes started, hoping to start some spring stuff in the ground in a week or so.

Blogwise I’ve been trying a couple of new things to my blog. Review roundup, which will feature quick reviews of recent reads and new releases round-up which will feature new releases I am excited about and why.

How are you guys doing? It’s awesome to see many of you still around.

  1. It is good to see you posting again! I am sorry to hear that you are having a tough time getting a diagnosis. I do hope you start feeling better soon. I am so ready for spring to get here and stay a while. I wish I was to grow a garden. I can’t keep a houseplant alive so I think it is a lost cause. Have a great week and enjoy your new books!

  2. I am sorry to hear that you are struggling with your health. It is so hard, especially when you feel you are not getting any answers. Hopefully this new appointment will get you on the right path.

So many of your new books look awesome!! Adding a few to my own TBR! To Best the Boys, Girls with Sharp Sticks and The Mother-In-Law specifically

  3. I like switching things up on the blog from time to time, keeps it fresh. Although I haven’t in a while lol. Hope you get good news on your health concerns soon- wishing you good vibes there. 🙂

To Best The Boys and Girls With Sharp Sticks are two I definitely want to read!

  4. I hope the 4th times a charm for you. It must be really stressful not knowing what is wrong. Fingers crossed this doctor can diagnose you and he can help you too. That’s awesome that you grow your own veggies. My grandfather had a pretty great backyard garden when I was growing up. I miss farm fresh veggies.

  8. I’m sorry to hear about your health issues. I know what it’s like to visit doctors over and over and not know what’s going on. It can be scary, but I hope this doctor can help you. That’s great you have some new ideas for the blog – and that you’re reading a bit more!

  9. Sorry to read you still don’t have a definitive answer to your health problems, but I’m very happy to see you back on the blog! Wishing you all the best and hope for clarity with the next doctor!
