Weekly Recap
Happy Weekend Everybody and Happy March! I hope the weather is looking up for you guys. Here in PA we just had a beautiful weekend that ended with sleet and snow. I think I am ready for some warmer weather, I am definitely looking forward to getting my garden up and running this year. Last year my son absolutely adored the fresh garden peas so I am hoping to have more rows for them this year.
I do have one frustration this week. My three year old was bought a dinosaur by his grandfather and uncle that if you put it in water, it grows. They told him that but did not read the label that says 72 hours. So now all my three year old wants to do is sit there and watch it grow and does not understand yet that it will take days. /sigh
Today is also my husbands birthday and we hope to have a quiet dinner, nothing big. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
I also joined Kim’s Take Control of your TBR Challenge in March. I have quiet a few books I need to get through and seem to be doing well already, my goal was at least 10. Sign up are Here.

YIKES! Oh grandparents. It will be a long 3 days
Oh geez-trying to explain to a toddler the passage of time…not fun! Enjoy your new books!
I have an alligator like that. It did take three days and got quite big but I didn’t have a young one waiting around. LOL
Those are some nice looking books. I spy a few that I’d like to try. Stay dry and toasty:)
Nice books!! I just added more books that I want to read…LOL Have a good week!
Whoops, hopefully the wait won’t be too awful for your little guy. Enjoy your birthday dinner date.
Nice haul for the week. I’m doing the challenge, too. Good luck! 🙂
So crazy that you’re getting sleet and snow when we had 80 degree temps here last week. It’s cooler this weekend but still… nothing like you’re having! Hope you manage to tear your little one away from the dinosaur. LOL Happy birthday to your husband! Hope y’all have a nice dinner. I’m hearing good things about In Search of Us already.
I’m definitely looking forward to spring, too! We might try to start a garden this year, we’ll see! Cool covers on your new arrivals, enjoy!
Ugh the weather has been nuts. I want warmer weather now!! Oh that is not fun for your son!!!Happy birthday to your husband. Good luck with the challenge. Enjoy your new books and have a great week!
Aw, sorry to hear about th dinosaur! 3 days is an eternity to a little one, I imagine! And the weather has been crazy. We didn’t get snow here but I know a lot of people did, and that bit nor’easter storm sounds like a mess!
the Good Twin looks awesome.
Oh I loved the Jasper Dent series. Hope you do too! And I totally understand about the three year old. Well…I have a two year old, but she has no sense of time whatsoever! Poor kid! 🙂 Hope you have a great week!

Happy Birthday to your husband! I hope you had a nice weekend. I’m trying to read more back list books this year, and this month in general, but I didn’t sign up for the TBR challenge because I also have some upcoming review books I want to get through so it’ll be an odd mix this month I think.

I cannot wait for Spring and warm weather! Happy new week!
You’re hoping for warmer weather and I’m wishing for more snow! It feels like we’ve missed out on winter for the most part this year. :/ I hope you got your quiet dinner for your husband’s birthday and I hope there’s some movement on that dinosaur. 😉
Ohh, The Desert Spear looks promising. And good luck on your new challenge Lily 😉
Ahahahaaa, poor child… You should have made a picture of the dinosaur before putting it in the water and one when it’s big, so at least he could see the difference when you put the two pics next to each other.
I can’t wait to read your review of The Desert Spear!
